Sorry WB, I haven't changed, not one iota. I was a conservative in Sweden and am just as conservative here in the US. I believe in obeying the laws and I'm sorry you have an issue with that. Maybe you're the one who needs to examine your core beliefs? Does every covenant and/or law that you support end with "...except...," or "...sometimes", or maybe "...occasionally"? Laws are laws, come here legally and you won't have to worry.

Translation of (last) previous post: "Perhaps what we need here in the US is more of a feeling of protection."

No, but seriously people, I'm pleased the Highest Federal Court in Washington has decided by next summer to have reviewed the entire situation and then vote on whether or not Arizona' New Immigration Law is constitutionally valid or not. Wonder what they'll decide about Alabama!

Hi,

I heard on the news that the president gave an executive order
giving the polish a 90-Day Visa waiver. I could be wrong.

Arizona has serious problems with illegal immigration, Mexican drug trafficking and organized crime. People want to feel safe at their homes and they demanded from the government to take action. The federal government didn't do anything so the state have taken matters into their own hands and passed the new law to help the law enforcement do their job more efficiently. If you don't like how they went about it, move to another state or to Mexico. I bet most of you never been to Arizona nor you really care how serious the issue really is near the Arizona-Mexican border. It's a war zone.

America does, period.

As long as business owners hire cheap illegal labour, there will be illegal immigrants.

Nothing baffling about that. The odd deportation is a drop in the ocean.

Hit employers with very, very hard fines for hiring illegals.

Jail time, for excessive abuse of employment laws.

Concerned citizens should organise boycotts and protests of large chains found to be hiring illegals.

Hit big business where it hurts.

This isnt rocket science.

FFS on my last night on my American adventure I was offered two jobs and a marriage offer(to help get a visa). All presumed my visa ran out and wanted to help me circumvent American law. I have/had a green card but didnt want to spend more than nine months away from my home.

All three regularly ***** about illegals on their facebook. The irony is lost on them.
