I live in North Texas and have a friend who lives close to Poznan. I purchased some used books to send to him, but the USPS quoted me more than 3 times what I paid for the books to ship them. Is there a cheaper alternative? The books only cost me $13 and the USPS said the postage would be $41.25. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

UPS and Fedex are even more expensive. I shipped my things to Poland via USPA when I moved here because it was the least expensive way that I could find.
