Hi Everyone,
I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois @ Urbana/Champaign and I'm doing research on culture brokering which includes translating and teaching others usually parents about American culture. I'm trying to determine if the added responsibility of brokering has positive or negative effects on the child/adolescent broker. Did any of you translate for your parents/other adults as children or teens? If so post some experiences you had. To collect data I set up a survey. I would really appreciate if you would complete it. I will share the findings with you after I analyze the data. To access the survey please email me at kasia.komperda@gmail.com. Thanks.
