yeah, the typical response. "they do it for money". i guess that's every american's curse. no matter what you do, no matter how selfless it may be, it's always looked at as a ploy for financial gain.

If the shoe fits, that selfless generosity only exist in your brainwashed mind of yours others simply call it business opportunity nothing is for free.

Polish people complain about everything and everybody. They complain about America, they complain about the UK, France, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, and the rest of the Europe. Look at all the other threads - whine, whine, whine... Even the threads that start on a positive note (Polish accomplishments) end up in a b*tch session about other nations. I don't think there's a topic they wouldn't complain about. You take away their potato, they b*tch; give them a potato, they b*tch some more that it's too small and not like the one they had before. They complain about their own country and their government (that they voted for), they leave, and they set up "Little Polands" all over the place, stick together, and b*tch that nothing's like it was back in Poland. The average Pole is chronically unhappy, stubborn, argumentative and continuously whining.

Perhaps it's time to realize that other nations are not going to adjust to Polish mentality, so something's gotta give. I'd say if someone doesn't like it here, they're free to leave. So far, more people are coming in than leaving. Something tells me this is not the worst place to live.

This made me laugh so hard I almost choked on my coffee. LMAO, good old times.

i don`t know for hate but i know that Polish Americans don`t like USA torture of Slaveno-Serbian Christians, on the behalf of pro-Turkish Greater Albania and pro-German Greater Croatia.

FFS, doctor without borders is an international organization, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The arrogance with which you try to take credit for it is truly astonishing, no surprise there. You were talking about US Foreign Aid and how others would suffer if your selfless generosity ever stopped. When you do that than FFS man, call it for what it is.

A third of all that so called foreign aid goes to Israel and Egypt, those in turn spend vast majority of that money on armaments which they buy from you, I don’t know about you but I call it government subsidy protecting certain sector of your own economy and certain business that is vital to you, nothing wrong with that btw. The other so called aid is simply spent a bribes; Jordan for one, to leave Israel alone, once again this serves the interest of some lobbying group of your friends in Washington and their security, after all someone has to pay for it and who’s better suited for that task then you. Colombia and Bolivia yet another example, for drug abatement and just who do you suppose declared the war on drugs way back when? So the program continues. Commodities and services which you desire so much are also a big part of that so called foreign aid, here Indonesia springs to mind for the right to exploit their oil reserves, Pakistan? To help you chase terrorists around and not supply them with small arms or at least that’s what you think, stupidity is not cheap you know but a lesson well learned from the Soviet involvement there. For all your bit***** now money well spent too, you haven’t experienced nearly as many casualties nor equipment loss as the Soviets did.

So who are you kidding? All of that so called US foreign aid serves your own self-interest. You desire those things so you pay dearly for it, I’m simply pointing out the error of your ways. Expand your vocabulary and called it for what it really is. Foreign Aid is a generic term concocted by your own government to make you feel good about yourself but far from the true intention for which those funds are allocated in the annual budget under the misleading name of foreign aid, it’s only sold to you the tax payer as such and you in turn naively believe it to be so. All I’m saying no dice here buddy.

The bottom line is this; illness, homelessness and disease don't discriminate! Why then are certain Americans whose names are Gates, Zuckerberg and the usual suspects entitled to a higher standard of medical treatment and housing than the rest of us??

Silence from the peanut gallery up there, guys, 'cuz nobody's got an answer for it, 'cuz there AIN'T none!! It's flat wrong. Always has been, always will be.

"In 2007, MSF-USA raised $152.1 million and sent 200 aid workers to work overseas."

How much did your country give in 2007?

How much did any other country give in 2007? It's not about who owns it or founded it, it's who's footing the bill. That's what we're talking about here.

Hell, even Brad Pitt and AJ donated a cool million last year.

"New York, June 11, 2007 – The international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) today expressed its gratitude for a gift of $9,136,000 from Bill and Sue Gross of Laguna Beach, California, generated from the sale at auction of a portion of Mr. Gross's rare and extensive stamp collection."

Sandra Bullock donated 1 million last year.

The list of huge donations to MSF from US citizens goes on and on.

and who could forget Mr. Gates if we're talking about donating money to foreign countries:

Melinda Moree met plenty of naysayers who dismissed the prospects of a malaria vaccine. Then she encountered Bill Gates.

No one had developed a human vaccine against a parasite like malaria before, and the monetary incentives simply did not exist for pharmaceutical companies to develop drugs targeted at poor children. Development would require cooperation among scientists, drug companies, health groups and international governments -- an alliance so large it didn't seem possible, she recalled someone telling Gates.

"Of course it is," Gates countered, according to Moree, now director of the PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative in Seattle, which along with other groups has received nearly $500 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to develop, test, manufacture and eventually distribute a malarial vaccine.....The co-founder of Microsoft has given $25.9 billion of his personal wealth to the foundation and has pledged to give billions of dollars more to devote to several dozen specific programs, such as minority scholarships, clean water initiatives, updated computer systems in libraries and the development of a variety of vaccines.

And to cover our own tails, we've got American Red Cross. But that's obviously a bunch of a-holes in it for the money.

Donated American cash changes the world whether you like it or not.

I am Polish, I speak Polish, I live in chicago and i do everything polish from dancing, to church ... just everything. We work for everything but there are plenty of stuck up polish rich kids in Chicago also, its only because we miss out land and not the busy work there is here. You would understand if only you went there. You are right, we are not chained down, but we came here for a better life, to get more money, you do not understand, and we do not think that of the brits, do not single polish people out when you some to say our whole populate "hate" Americans or brits or anyone else. We are human. You can ask the Irish, Mexcans and Americans the same question.
Questionable123  May 1, 12, 15:27    #401
Polish people know how to save money because they NEVER USE ANY OF THEIR OWN MONEY! When given the opportunity to stay free of rent they take advantage of it to the fullest and longest as they possibly can. They milk staying free of rent by conveying how poor poland is and their so glad to be giving an opportunity to live in a Richer country so that you can sympathize and feel bad for them. I took a polish guy into my home to give him the opportunity of a better life and to make money. Maybe save some money and eventually move out to his own flat. But for over a month all he did was stay at the flat play video games and sleep. Took no initiative to look for a job seriously. He complains about how hard working at a bread factory is. If I was him I would not be so picky and would opt for the first job I get and save as much money as I can as soon as possible while receiving free room and board. I don't know what type of job he is expecting when he did not graduate from college. He is not painting a positive picture of polish people to me. In fact I'm starting to believe the stereotype that most polish people are lazy!

So before you judge Americans take a look at your own people. Not all American eat fast food. In fact I don't and not all American talk about nothing but money. Maybe Polish people don't talk about money because you guys don't have any?? lol

Did you finish high school? Why don't you look at yourself first before pointing out Polish people, Americans can never take any sort of criticism of their country.. Because they are THE best in everything. Meanwhile European students know a whole lot more about the world and been to more places. (Only 21% of Americans hold a passport) Typical ignorance. http://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/why-americans-dont-travel-over seas/
Questionable123  May 1, 12, 15:45    #403
Have you been to America? IT IS THE BEST COUNTRY TO LIVE IN! I travel a lot I've been to Europe (London) over 4 times each time for months at a time. I've also been to Asia etc... amongst many other places in the world. If you have not been to America don't place judgement on it.

Jersey shore? etc..those reality tv shows? it must be popular since you even know the name of it. You probably watch it as well. America entertainment industry is broadcast all over the world and many people from these country are big fan of America Tv. Just admit it.

The reason why America do everything different from the rest of the world is partly to keep business/money circulating in our country with certain other countries. Do you understand? it is not to be different it is a way to bring money, keep jobs in OUR COUNTRY.

Yes I've been living in Philadelphia for 21 years, been to Boston, Chicago, Florida, Detroit etc. Didn't say all Americans but many are ignorant about the world, especially compared to their European counterparts.

For your information I have finished school and I do quite well for myself. Mind you the schooling system is much harder in America than say for example in Europe country such as London. LOL YOUR A FUCCIN IDIOT. You must be Polish. Maybe you need to go back to school.

And I'm not placing judgement on Polish people. I'm speaking from my OWN PERSONAL experience with one. I was nice enough to take a Polish person in and give him shelter for over months free of rent and board and all he did was sleep, eat for free, took no initiative to look for a job or save money so that he can permanently move here and better his life. And that was the only reason I agreed to take him in. I did not agree remain a host to a lazy parasite that just feeds off of you. At this rate since your people are so lazy to better your life when given an opportunity you might as well go back to your poor country and mediocre lives and quit complaining about how poor your country is and how you wish you had a better opportunity!

HAHA other way around silly boy. The level is 3 to 4 grades behind Poland. Polish 8th grade grads know the same or more math, history and science than American high school grads. Only American universities are better and that's a fact (money)

^^^ LMAO, the only idiot is the one who thinks London is a country haha!
Questionable123  May 1, 12, 16:05    #408
Your wrong. America school system/University is a much harder program to obtain a degree. One is required to complete much more classes/ courses to obtain a degree in whatever field they choose compared to Europe countries such as London. And I'm pretty sure London as part of one of Europe countries is way better than Poland in the quality of living and currency/wages are higher. Why is that many Poland individual claim to have a masters degree in something but are stuck working at a grocery store? lol Because your degree means shiet thats why. What's the point of having that title behind your name when your country is so ****** and have no jobs for you?

Get your facts right. Maybe you should do some googling. ;)

I love how you just ignore the part about what I said about every Polish individual claiming to have a master degree in something yet works at a grocery store lol. Why is that no tourist visit your country? Maybe because theres nothing to do there!! Poland is a shitting country and everyone knows it. Thats why all your people try to migrate to other countries etc...=P just admit it. You have too much Polish pride. Be a realist. Stop being in denial. We all love our country but I'm a realist there are things about America I dislike and will not defend when others speak of it. But you sir seem to get offended when I only speak the truth about your Poland country.
Questionable123  May 1, 12, 16:20    #413
I never said anything about America RANKING HIGHEST IN MATH, SCIENCE, reading in comparison to the UK. WHAT I SAID WAS IT IS HARDER TO OBTAIN A DEGREE FROM UNI IN AMERICA. OUR UNIV ARE MUCH HARDER FOR STUDENTS TO COMPLETE AND OBTAIN A DEGREE IN. WE ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE MORE CLASSES/PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO BE QUALIFIED IN OUR PROFESSIONAL FIELD AND PRACTICE. It is much easier to obtain a degree in the UK through UNI. Students take less classes/program is much shorter in the UK to obtain a degree in field in comparison to America. There's your difference. Next time before you decide to comment read throughly about what was said.

So your little article means nothing to me =)

London is a dump. Its not a country, either.

Try Berlin, Rome, Prague, Amsterdam, Dublin, Madrid or Vienna.

The Finns have completely revamped their education system and have been flying up that table. The rest of europe should be following their example.

You're talking ancient history, man. Your education system in Poland sucks (nowadays) and your kids are just as dumb as any other kids. I had a chance to mingle with your people for quite some time and I speak from my personal experience.

It's OBVIOUS why students score higher on these tests in certain countries. It all comes down to one thing. PREPPING. These kids are prepped to take these tests and score high. Finland does a good job of prepping it's students. Time spent prepping for standardized tests takes time from more important areas of study. But hey. To each their own.

You can spend an entire school year studying for one test but does that mean you are actually smarter?
