Today the 44th President of the worlds most powerful country just swored into office! Have you heard his speech?....did you look at the crowds?.... didnt you see the Sheep and the Tiger both drink from the same pond today?....Yes I did. I saw today unity, I saw today God help the world heal...I saw today Jesus wipe off the tears from the face of mankind. Today I saw the world rise up and see, that the world cannot stay divided.

Today let the world know that hope outlasts division....let the world know that no matter how much force is applied....Unity shall be established...and the world will find itself open to all its residents freely...and the world will see the future of a common human race!

At this aupicious moment....I remember one man...and his dream. Today was the day when that dream got fulfilled...

Another thing....today is the day when I declare my belief in the Baha'i Faith officially.

The World Is But One Country, And Mankind Are Its Citizens.... :)

May God Bless All...

a new face, new skin color which I am happy to see. but new politics? doubtful. my guess is business as normal with the little twist the democrats put on it versus the republicans. more social spending, attempt to reform healthcare. unless he is talking about pulling all US troops out of all foreign countries than he isnt saying much to me...

Lodz you are living in a dream world.Your liberalism is blinding you.. Nothing will change for the better. This guy is not the Messiah that you think.. He reminds me of Jim Jones and his followers in Guiana.
They ended up drinking poisoned koolade when the bubble burst.

I will give him a year though...after that we will see if he really is about "change".

But it's a fact of a democracy that one man alone can't change EVERYTHING. In good
things as in bad too.
He will need a lot of good people on his side...

Nope, in all good faith I could not bring myself to vote for either one.. I sat it out.. No matter what the outcome is, I had nothing to do with it.

i FIND HIM TOO POLISHED.
His speaches are all 'I have a dream.....' type, epic speaches'.
He's a media creation, lacking any real substance.

White mans guilt.

Today we stepped a little closer to the end of civilisation as we know it.
The civilisation that the 20% of the earths population that is white built, refined and now seems intend on giving away.

In 30 years I wonder how much time the Chinese will devote to ensuring my kids/grandkids grow up healthy, wealthy and happy in a society of equals???

We should hold onto the power till our dying breaths. Make them struggle for every millimeter they want to take.

It's 410 AD in ROME.
The Barbarians are at the gate.....
But this time they've sent an advanced party in amongst us.
Exploit white guilt.
3 Generations who've never experienced serious war or want. Liberal do-gooders.

It is not him that I worry so much about.. It is his loyal followers that bother me. They are already starting to revolt. They had no respect for the law before.. just watch them now.. I see it already here in America.
America is going to go through a dangerous era.. I just hope that I am wrong

Nothing will change, poor will be poor and riche will be richer, I hate all this propaganda and I don't believe that any thing will change, good luck but Obama never had my support I support the Republican party, just my personal choice. All Politicians are corrupted crooks they get richer from the poor people!!! Obama is the same as all other politicians like ROB Blogojewicz!!!!!!!!!

I think he has excellent views on taxation but he needs to bring sth new to the table in foreign policy. We need a new impetus, a fresh drive towards respectability.

Men...u just spoke well..in his speech today he says he will put discussions on the table. This is the first man to say that amongst all the presidents of the worlds powers. No one has ever said he /she would put discussions with his adversaries....this is not just talk....
for the fact that he has not failed us from the election till now. I am seeing him walk down the penn avenue on the street not minding security issues...this is the man the world needs...literally...someone who would risk his life for his people... i just cant call him Jesus...U know what i mean...

He values diplomacy but I sincerely hope that it isn't part of his rhetorical jibe. He is quite stern when it comes to Iran. He has tolerance but he's been very clear that he will up the inspection level and ensure that Iran doesn't acquire a WMD. I don't buy all the hype. Many people speak a good game but there's a twinkle in Obama's eye that shows sincerity and ingenuity.

I can care less about McCain!! All I'm saying is that there will not be any change and at the end people will be hoping and will be disappointed. I don't care about the politicians as long as they fix their mess up (economy and the world). I wish him all the best but he is the same as the other politicians!! Like some one mentioned above a new face in the same white house! I think it will take more than hope to fix the problems. If you just hope with out any action then you are hoping for things to always fix and happen buy them self! And it doesn’t work that way, it’s like hoping to win lotto but if you don’t mark/play the numbers you will not win on a hope, and it seems/fells like people are being told to hope for miracles to happen by them self!!!!

why do people keep saying this.....how many politicians have decided to talk with Iran risking their political career, how many of them have decided to involve their former oppositions into their cabinets and see advice from them? this is not just mere politics....this is reality for the world to see...i am sure putin, and president of Iran would be willin to talk listening to how sincere he was today in his speech. Israel had to pull out of Gaza b4 the inauguration cos they know Obama will definitely not support their continuous war in gaza.. red yesterday news to confirm what i have just said. This is not the norm...change has truly come
