What, he wants a few more troops to die? Or have they made another deal with some poor Arab who will pass as Bin Laden so that they can claim a moral victory?

I thought you gave Nobel Peace Prizes to those dedicated to peace and not war. The global elite are just having a laugh but it's a sick joke to many.

Exactly, that's what my wife and I think. He had no right to accept based on his recent actions. Both you and I were fans of his at the start but we can see what he is doing. Our lads across there are livid at the lack of equipment coming there way. Can you imagine if the special forces like the SAS didn't get what they needed? There'd be an uproar.

Michael Moore had a go at his strategy too. What is it, a final push for victory? The Taliban will keep regrouping. What's the sense in a pullout? It will look like defeat and they also won't be able to man key areas. They have to ask themselves why they went in in the first place. I'd fire all the strategists and send Obama into the front lines in Helmand, see what our boys are up against. Harry went so so can Obama.

There needs to be a greater force to win the war against taliban and terror.

The greatest weapon to kill hatred and violent ... is LOVE and PEACE.

Let these taliban and other groups starve for new recruits .... and they will be destroyed themselves. Let the peacelovers increase and spread so much ... and no one supports these groups.

For that we must work hard together ... and target the children and their hearts. We must form schools ... with REAL moral values and principals. Good education about science and literature. We must explain the economic and other benefits from these steps. We must give scholarship to student who LOVES to come to Europe and North America with pure and loving intentions.

We must integrate. Because these tabilan and like minded BREED in seperation, hatred, deprivation, class-differentiation, racism, wars and greed. They are the pest of the evil and unjust anti-human activities of humanity.

Cannibalism perhaps is literally erased (almost entirely) ... but in its true sense, its still everywhere. We must finish it. That is the final solution...

There are still remnants of cannibalism in Scotland ;) The shadow government makes the key decisions. They have been laundering money for years and the CIA is in on it. Obama can't do much but to impose caps on their earnings but the money will always get through.

Obama is a smart and shrewd guy for sure but he doesn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize as he is a warmonger, period! People deserve recognition for concrete achievements and not rhetoric bandied about to those who pick up on it.

I don't think you can deny the fact that he is a smart guy. However, many are not happy with the way that he has implemented key policies but that's the way it is. He's certainly no dream.

Sure I can. What makes him smart? He's certainly is opportunistic.

His public service to the State of Illinois has the state forty-nine out of fifty in bond ratings.

The state, as a whole, is a disaster (crime, jobs, public finance, public policy). He's an Alinsky acolyte; and he played his teleprompter driven oratory skills to duping a majority of the voting public about "change".

The only change has been in the rate of acceleration of building a state/big business driven kleptocracy.

I feel sorry for you if this "smart" person impresses you.

You are an American so you should know what Chicago is like and has been like for a long time. It has always had a high crime rate. Ask most Brits, even they know about Chicago and Washington DC as murder and crime cities.

Public finance issues have always been 'iffy' there too. Jobs? Eh, crisis! Public policy - many others determine and have determined that.

He is smart enough but I've seen many smarter people in the world.

True, true! However, he delivered a BS speech at West Point in NYC. I'm listening to it now. He talks about "seizing the initiative" but then pulling the troops out as soon as that is done. WB, you have played chess, you know that initiative is but the first step in carving out a victory. You need to work on it til the end. A bit like Snatch where Mickey (Brad Pitt) said 'you'll stay here til the job's done'. The War on Terror was meant to be for life and strategists said that 2025 should be a likely pull-out date.

It's a disaster and he just glosses over that!

Fair point! He has only been in power for just under a year and Bush was in the whole time before that so Obama inherited a mess. I just feel that he is torn between his own personal response plans and those being fed to him by the pen pushers. Obama is a much better man than Bush is but his Afghan strategy is dubious and predicated on lies.
