I unfortunately can remember vaguely the last time Wall-St. was "occupied. This was back in the mid-60's and the local unions sent goons with billy clubs to do a wee bit of head bashing! Is anyone here suggesting Bloomberg should do the sam???! I'm certainly not, although, freedon of assembly not withstanding, I personally support some of the protesters' goals, if not their methods. I do agree with our mayor that they're defeating their own cause.

Additionally, do you use oil, how about automobiles, and do you occasionally inhabit high-rise buildings?.... all of which are created by "mega corporations". Do you have money in banks? Logic is a dangerous thing to those who use 'feelings' instead of of rational thought and reason.

At to the almighty intrusive government with all its new bureaucratic regulations (soon they'll tell you what to eat), it's noticeable that nobody commented on the Gibson Guitar case because it epitomizes what is wrong with all the 'do-gooder' government employees who foster unreasonable rules and regulations.

Lots of people get speadily marginalized nowadays.Thirst for radical solutions is imminent.Galvanized folks are not good for the system but passive folks are also not good.So the balance has eclipsed.The elites need to secure themselves with weapons police and army because their future is bleak.They are sandwiched because the war is unorthodox they have no idea what is going on.

people want accountability, capitalism is not only about freedom of commerce but also about risk. Those bankers should bankrupt and lose their fortunes. That would happen to average citizen and if he would go about distributing falsified money, hell he would face a jail sentence.

I disagree with Mr. Beck on various issues and agree with him on many. His interview with Mr. Henry Juszkiewicz, the CEO of Gibson Guitar Corporation speaks for itself. The interview had to do with the inane EPA regulations which are way out-of-whack. You seem obsessed with the messengers instead of the subject matter. That's a losing tactic, always has been.

As to the clean-up attempt by Bloomberg, he has postponed it for a while because he now believes that the best way to clean up the filth left by the Wall Street protesters is to invite the Tea Party to rally there. (For those of you unfamiliar with this theme, the Tea Party people are known to leave the environment cleaner than when they found it).

I cut and pasted your reply as opposed to my using the quote function provided. Seeing that I write and I see [sic] used when my papers are quoted and I do the same when I review the work of other people it's ingrained.

But, I didn't do it in a subsequent reply and I find the use of [sic] inappropriate for blogs.

Now, back to offending you on the point at hand.

If you have numbers to prove your case please cite them. Otherwise, your statement that people are dying in the streets because of a lack of universal medical care is hyperbole.

After watching some footage of Protesters, I wonder...??, are the Americans simply so mediated and consumed, that they are too stupid and incapable of protest?? Even the protesters look like their performing for an episode of Beverly Hill 90210.
America is !!! where the protest needs to start, and the Federal Reserve building and Wall Street need to be occupied but......'Me thinks', the land of fat TV heads, is more inclined to watch an alternative movie about the revolution actually happening,and then leaving it at that.

it is big step for America just to protest, media was ignoring it for weeks. I do not see it lasting thought the winter but next year in spring we will see more protest and even more violent as millions of people will lose unemployment benefits.

I think in the modern world, protest by it self has become redundant. I think it needs to be submerged with a form of highly structured civil disobedience. Boycotting certain products, refusing to work on certain days, refuse to watch commercial news channels and read commercial newspaper and magazines(or whatever I don't know ) etc etc,, However I don't think Americans especially, can do with out their goodies for too long.

The worst thing that can happen is civil disobedience or violence. The occupy wall protesters have started a movement without vision, what do they stand for? Although many people understand the reasons for the protests, they do not represent the majority, main stream want vision and values. If it turns to violence in the UK this weekend on the London marches, then it is lambs to the slaughter again.
