Hi, I would like to know if there is any polish community in Scranton, Pa. My husband is a very experienced pastry chef and we are interested in opening the pastry shop in Scranton. Thank you for any advice.

you can start by looking in north scranton, in and around St. Ann's Cathedral, located on St. Ann's Avenue. It always traditionally Slovak, and Polish, and i believe that would be your best start. I am not from there, but yes, there is community there, and an authentic pastry shop should do well!......thanks frank unclefrank@socantel.net 0one very good pastry shop is on birney ave. and is called MINOOKA PASTRY SHOP.
