There are many years since i came to this forum. Poles gave me right to speak. i retreated here, took this forum as kind of sanctuary and i relaxed my Slavic soul among brotherly Poles and other Slavs and even among others.

... some people here can`t understand my devotion to the Slavic civilization. Well, its my world. THEY can globalize me, THEY can bring NEW WORLD ORDER TO ME, THEY can destroy my country, THEY can MANY THINGS. What THEY can`t, THEY can`t have my Slavic soul

Serbia and Poland shared the day at the Altar of Liberty in Madison Square yesterday. The flag of Serbia was raised on the altar at noon and the celebration for Poland took place in the afternoon.

The Slavs are marching! Venerable cataloguer and tracker of all things Slavic in the city, Slavs of New York! is planning to, uh, expand the franchise by covering Slavic events in other cities. First on the list are Pittsburgh and Atlantic City. We think those are good steps, though we'll be the first to admit we have no idea about Slavic goings on in Atlantic City.

Still, we're surprised their not doing Chicago first. Is it too Polish oriented? We know that people jokingly refer to it as the second largest Polish city after Warsaw, so it certainly makes sense to us. Covering the sausage alone would take ages, but we're biased towards pork products and/or byproduct ourselves. We're curious to see what develops.

Celebrate Poland, a display of ethnic heritage marked by traditional dance, music and costumes, was held in Chicago at Navy Pier. Chicago has the largest Polish population of any city outside Warsaw

I've been to many of these Slavic parades in the USA. It seems many of the Slavic women that go to those events have black husbands. I'm happy that they're sharing their culture.
