We look forward to seeing you at our first social. Let's kick-off Winter 2007 with a Richmond European Social on the last Friday in November. And starting in 2008 continue meeting for Happy Hour on the second Friday and last Saturday of the month. First social to be held on Friday November 30th at Europa Mediterranean Cafe located at 1409 E. Cary St. Richmond, VA 23219 in Shockoe Slip, (804) 643-0911 to make new friends and enjoy old ones and then visit the downstairs lounge with our friend DJ Stephen Garriques back by popular demand from NY to spin from 10pm-2am. Richmond European social meet up to be held at 7pm on Friday February 29th at Europa Mediterranean Cafe located at 1409 E. Cary St. Richmond, VA 23219 in Shockoe Slip, (804) 643-0911. Casual and social with a European twist. Awesome way to spend a day that we get only once every four years. Europa is where we held our last meeting and to our pleasant surprise even our bartender Gosia was 100% Polish.

Missed the leap year event - did not know. First time on this site.

Looking for a Polish bakery and/or butcher shop in Richmond, VA. Where are they hidden?

Would love to get that wonderful Polska kielbasa for Easter.

Don't know of any Polish bakeries in Richmond, but in Williamsburg VA there is the Kielbasa Euro Deli. They have Babka and other baked items and they have various meets/sausage/kielbasa as well as candies, cakes and other Polish items. They have a website, just do a search for Kielbasa Euro Deli

Does any one know a Polish hairdresser in Richmond VA? I'm looking for my old hairdresser. She was from Poland. I last saw her in 1997 in Midlothian VA. I am back in richmond and can't figure out where she works. Thanks for your help

Ryszard, nie ma polskiej piekarni w Richmond, ale jest ruski sklepik na ulicy Broad -- nazywa sie European Deli, cos takiego. Sprzedaja rozne polskie rzeczy, np. kielbase, kabanosy, krowki, itp. / There isn't a Polish bakery in Richmond, but there is a little Russian store on Broad Street that sells a few Polish things. I think they're called European Deli.

My wife and I are going to visit Krakow and Kolbuszowa this summer. My grandparents came to the US from Kolbuszowa in the late 80s. I am interested in any information on best way to get there from Krakow. Also quite interested in finding any family (Grandfathers name Magda, Grandmothers name Ziemba). I live in Richmond, VA.
