Nowicka: As the title says, are there any Polish events in Chicago in the period 14th - 20th March?
Big event during the week of March 14-20 is St Patricks Day on the 17th. Parade, River colored green and big event at local pubs (for kids your age). Two days later are St. Joseph day dinners (Polish) following link should give you a start deep into America's ethnic heritage:

Chicago has large Polish American, ex pat Polish community. Lots of Polish Restaurants, pubs, delicatessens. Mostly on the Nortwest side: Milwaukee Avenue, Belmont Cragin area but you don't want to miss downtown, Michigan Avenue, Rush Street especially on St. Pat's.
