If you come to Fairbanks there is a priest Father Mirek who is from Poland at Immaculate Conception Church. I have great respect for him and he has very thoughtful, kindly manner, come to a service - this Catholic Church is right in downtown Fairbanks.

I do not know of a Polish community here, but if you do move here you can always start a group up - Polish Club. there is a Polish consulate in Anchorage, Alaska.

I just been crazy about this state forever, seems like an awsome place to live! I am hoping on visiting Alaska in a near future, and hopefully move there eventually. For those lucky ones that live there, try to stay cool this summer ;)

Hi! Im just half Polish, living in Czech republic and´I want move to Alaska. I heard also from my polish friend its possible to stay there for long period or forever :-) if u comply requirements. But, when I wanted ask for info in American ambassy n Prague the woman there didnt want to tell me anything and she was acting like she dont know ab. it at all... Pls can u let me know whaat \i have to do ? Thanks a lot Jana

lala: I heard also from my polish friend its possible to stay there for long period or forever :-) if u comply requirements. It is possible,standard US immigration rules apply.
