US citizen wants to visit UK by summer. UK point of entry.

I am a US citizen and want to visit UK by summer..i wanted to get an information..was having some argument with a pal here
the question is?
when one arrive UK from overseas the immigration check points..is there a diffrent line or section for EU nationals and non-EU nationals ..
or everybody has to remain in a single line for clearance...give me a positive reply and i tell you why i ask the question in the first placa..
Uk past visitors comment needed..

Any time I have gone through there is seperate queues for EU/Non-EU nationals. I think it's the same in most places as it would be quite inefficient otherwise.

Theres a passport checkpoint for eu passport holder and a seperate one for non eu passport holders.

It actually pisses me off that the UK doesn't do what the Schengen standard is - one queue for EU, another queue for "All Passports". The amount of times that you get stuck in a stupidly long queue in places like Luton for EU passports, only for the non EU queue to be empty drives me mad.

Some places, where they barely see non-EU citizens do operate a single queue - Aberdeen for instance.

At the rate you lot dish out the passports, they were probably EU citizens!

I have always bolted to the shortest line. Do try it next time. It's not like at a Polish post office.

I don't know about your level of fluency in German or Polish, Agugu, but your English is far
too... how could I put it... colonial, for people to believe that you're an American citizen.

TORQ..Maybe polish also is very colonial to believe i have a polish citizenship..You talk like if you from another planet...In american not everybody speaks english..I guess you dont have a clue about it..hahahhah. But some have of them have US nationality...I got mine by birth OK.......
