I think that part of the problem is that Genealogy and the way the church works, are not compatible.
Some priests here can be a pain in the butt. They want every last detail from you when you get married etc, but they won't give anything back.
Church records need to be put into the hands of other organizations. Much like they are in the UK.
Genealogy worldwide is continually growing and it is a way of bringing people together. I would have thought that this alone would be good reason to help.

My response was to your negative approach to Priest in Poland, its worth remembering that the only people who are critical of the church are those that don't believe or never go to church.. Patrycja19 it pays sometimes to live in the real world.
