Private Messages link - When will it change again?

"Nice touch," you might say. "Red and white - Polish colours."

But doesn't it make PF look more like a certain kind of Tabloid newspaper?

After about 5 tries resizing it, it finally worked.
If anyone wants to know what it said in the text, why not PM me?

So it's better not to specifically and visually indicate you've got a new message - it would be better if you go to Private message section to find out if you have a new message or not?

I thought that would be an unnecessary step, but your suggestion will be considered.

It used to light up when there was a message, but I've already forgotten how it looked.

We all like suprises, but that wasn't quite what I was suggesting.
You know we like suprises. I assume that's why you present us with so many.

It lights up exactly the same - when there's a new message or unread message/s.

I assume this would be because computer monitors are two-dimensional and do not fold in the middle. Anyone familiar with the work of Jan Pieñkowski?

Not a single soul PMed me. I didn't even get any requests about it from any soulless members either.

So I spent ages typing a newspaper article, then to post the picture I had to trim it down and resize it do many times to make it fit, I had to lose most of my hard work. Since the 23rd of March, I have been carrying the following text in my reminders folder:

The world was reeling in the revelation that PolishForums was to start using a slightly different background, style AND wording for its private messages function. A member who wished to remain anonymous said 'It's an OUTRAGE!'. Osiol,, 31, said 'So facking what?' and Michal, 89, said 'Just the sort of thing you expect from a Pole. When I was in Moscow in 1982 they used to stand around in parks smoking noisily, probably planning to gas train passengers so they could steal all their money.'

Another member, Mr. Noimmigration, 12, who is an amoeba said 'I'm really sorry about all the nasty things I've ever said about Polish people. I only did it because mummy wouldn't give me any more pocket money. I smell really bad and no-one likes me.'

Why did I bother? I might have just been able to post it as a seperate picture.
What a donkey I must look like now!

It was in the newspaper so it must be true
