PROBLEMS SENDING & RECEIVING MMS TO POLAND from UK

Has anyone experienced problems sending MMS to Poland from the UK. I can send and receive SMS OK. I can send some MMS to Poland and it is received OK, but some just will not deliver no matter how many times I send. The size of the MMS I send is always below the maximum size allowed. When my girlfriend sends my an MMS I can only retrieve it from my computer by logging on at http://foto.plusgsm.pl/.

Anyone with a solution or knowledge of this problem would be appreciated.

MMS = Multimedia Message Service -- pictures with text added and sometimes voice clip

SMS = Standard Message Service -- text message only

Thank you. So the idea is the same - maybe there's a problem with storage indeed then.

speak to your network provider .. it may be a settings issue .. i used to work for o2 cust services/retentions .. and sometimes there can be a block on contract phones that prevents GSM signals working or you may have a international barring on your account which needs lifting in order to receive them.

i would certainly speak to them and clarify

It also depends or her service provider.
And the maximum mb your Phone is set to send.

Sometimes just adding Kisssss Stops my MMS from being recieved.
Bc of this.
Its weird.

I Sent her a New Phone.
And married two sims to the same provider to get past this problem.
Now it works fine.. ( Mostly )

I Just had to go into my MMS Settings. And increase the Maximum Mb i could send.

You may want to investigate this part.
Hope it was of some help..

Happy MMS'ing :))

Roflmao
Try just getting 2 Sims. ( Same )
Registering 1 To her Phone ( Obviously you will need the emei num. )
And 1 to yours.
That way they are mated. and it makes Msging so much easier..

Or get her a matching sim Same as your providor.
Orange worked best for me.
And they do have free deals now and then.

And register it. :))

I have solved the problem. I was told that the maximum size MMS I could send was 300kB. When you send an MMS you must make sure that the picture or attachment you put in the MMS does not exceed 100kB. This is because the presentation of the MMS itself is about 200kB. I was attaching pictures that were more than 100kB which with the presentation part of the MMS exceeded the 300kB limit. I simply reduced the size of the picture from say 108kB to say 60kB and problem solved.

And it helped that my Pda warned me about sizes.. lol

If its too large. Your provider will send you a link to view it.

You need to downsize your pics
