All right, you can contact me regarding the tranlastions. I accept 5 US cents per word. I have translated 8 books (1982 pages 1800 characters no spaces), from English into Polish.

I am a very solid individual - you can count on me.

In Poland the going rate from agencies is about 40 zlotys ($16) per page of 1700-1800 characters, so I assume the actual translators get less. The above rate falls well within what you're offering, as I'm sure you can tell by the number of responses you've gotten. Don't let the naysayers get you. Good luck with your business.

I'm English-Polish translator interested in co-operation with you. I've graduated from university where I studied English Philology and specialize in legal and adsministrative translation (business and general law, diplomas, cvs, certificates, etc.) but I'm willing to undertake general translation if required.

Please reply to me as soon as possible on the following e-mail: kasia.welyczko@yahoo.pl

I am a professional translator, I was born in Poland but grew up in Australia. After almost 20 years there, I’ve come back to live in Poland permanently. I’ve always had a passion for translating and have been doing it since I was 15 years old, but it was mainly as a hobby. For about a year now I have started to offer translating services on a full-time basis and love every minute of it.

Apart from regularly working for various translation agencies, I recently had the pleasure of translating for a large capital investment group; The Cartesian Group LLC (ww.cartesiangroup.com) during four days of business talks with one of the largest fleet management firms in Poland (ww.transpost.com.pl).
I have also done a simultaneous translation for Professor Peter N Cooke from the University of Buckingham at a presentation held for high ranking executives of international companies.
A prestigious US consulting group (ww.mercury-assoc.com) has hired me to help them translate various questionnaires.
For me translating is more than a job, it’s my passion! 
It’s my mission to further develop my competency and knowledge as a translator.

Good evening,

Are you available to translate for us for the 4th september? We require you from 12h to 14h roughly. We are upon completion of a feature film called IRON CROSS starring the late Roy Scheider from Jaws along with many other fantastic and well known actors. Monica Jagodzinska is our costume department manager, she doesn't speak very good English, she will be fitting clothes on Sarah Bolger (Spiderwick cronicles, The Tudors...). How much do you charge for a couple of hours?

Kind regards,

Michelle Lodge
