Could someone please tell me how to pronounce: Kocham Ciê...i.e., Coach-am Chee?

yeah sometimes guys have selective hearing and also the ability to miss hear something so easily sometimes, i see you've noticed that then :):):)

I think the 'armchair' sounds a little closer. 'Amateur' has too many syllables.....although its more fun to say.

(and smile when you say "cheh" ! :)
Seriously, it softens the "ch" sound. Anglo speakers tend to overpronounce the Polish "ci" sound making it sound like "cz". There's actually quite a difference to the Polish ear.
