Pronunciation of Wojciech

Hi,

What is the correct way to pronounce the name of Wojciech? Voy-cheh seems right to me, but other places say Voj-chek. What is the correct way? Thanks!

The other one I heard in the Kaszuba region of Poland, by that is a whole different dialect.

I knew a Wojciech living in Utica, New York. He pronounced it Voy-tek, and he emigrated from Poland when he was 13.

Wojciech sounds pretty official. I'm sure his friends and family call him Wojtek (Voy-tek).
His wife might call him Wojtus, Wojteczek... (Voy-tush, Voy-techek) :)

I changed my name when i came to the states from wojciech to wojtek and soon going to voytek :)

Wojtek i would use as a pet name to a close friend or child, although my family pronounce the name voj-chek, i have also heard both???? good point dude

I've always just pronounced it Voy - check, bit wrong I suppose lol.
