puerto rican/polish male looking for polish friends

my dad is puerto rican and my mom is polish. Back then it wasn't cool to mix with other races that were not your own. It would never work people said, But love has brought them through almost 50 years of marriage. The polish side disowned her and the latin side understood the love. So I'm here to find friends who can show me the other side of my culture that I never knew.

What do you look like? Do you have dark hair or light hair, dark eyes or light eyes? I met a family once who was Polish and Mexican. The husband was Polish, the wife was Mexican and their kids had the bluest eyes like their father. They were extremely good looking.

I'm so Americanized. But there are many people from Poland on the forum. But they're about 8 hours ahead of us so it's late for them over there. Do you attend any Polish festivals in your area? This month is Dozynki Harvest Celebration. It's actually this weekend in the L.A. area.

what kind of info are looking for? polish culture is semi similar to the latin one.. some of the celebrations are similar as they are catholic based.. otherwise.. ask away.

I'm sure if you put Poland, Polish culture, history, battles etc. you will find plenty intresting stuff.

i'm not surprised her family disowned her... a lot of people in/from poland tend to be racist (saying stick with your own and stuff like that) not to mention a lot of men are/were sexist as well... at least that was my experience that's why i never could date any of the polish men i met...
