Question about Polish Social life in Chicago

I am of Polish decent - now living in Chicago. Can anyone tell me if there is a local forum for discussing Polish social life, i.e. clubs, good places to meet Polish ladies, etc. If not, does anyone on this site have info to share on this?

So in other words, you wanna meet some Polish single ladies in Chicago? I would start by posting a picture here - profiles with pics seem to get more attention. I don't have one as I'm not single any more . I don't think you'll find any local forum related to singles in Chicago only (unless you know Polish so you may try some polish websites). Other than that, I think some Chicagonians are visitors to this forum too.

Humm.....so are you from Chicago?? The only club I know of that is Polish in Chicago is a place called Jedynka (not sure I spelled that right). Not sure if there are more of these places. It seems pretty popular but, - very loud, so it's hard to talk to anyone.

Yes, I'm looking for any tips on places to socialize in the Chicago area with Polish women.

Eurola, I thought you responded to my other post today - I am mid-40's - clearly old enough to be her father! I know many Polish women that prefer older men but this might be a stretch, don't you think! (by the way, I can modestly say that I am in really good shape)

Yes I was/am dating someone - sort of. I do like her alot but (and there is always a "but" isn't there) she works constantly so I can never see her. It's one of those cycles where if things went right she wouldn't have to work at all but, for things to go right, I need to see her.

Is there a dating website or social/activity group for Polish singles in Chicago? I'm a Polish American, F 38, born here but lived in Krakow for a year, and never seem to meet Polish or Polish-Americans...but there must be places to go or groups where it's possible to come into contact with more. Any suggestions?

I'm married to a Polish lady, and we live in Indiana, right outside of Chicago. Don't look on websites, look in cafes, supermarkets, etc., and I'd stay away from the nightclubs. Speak your best Polish, even if it's not very good, it's like the shoe is on the other foot.
