If I'm not being too indiscreet, may I ask you these questions? A 'yes' or a 'no' answer only is perfectly fine.

Are you paid to do this work?

Do you work from home or do you have to go to an office?

How many of you are there?

How do you monitor the posts: do they appear differently on your screen (for ex., one after the other?)

Do you participate in the forum, under a member's name?

Did you have to apply to get this job?

Is the site monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Thank you. Just curious

Are you paid to do this work? - Not directly for this job, but such "voluntary job" from time to time may lead to some commercial opportunities. It's like working as an apprentice :).

Do you work from home or do you have to go to an office? - I'd call it "home office"

How many of you are there? - One boss and 2-4 "part time" contributors

How do you monitor the posts: do they appear differently on your screen (for ex., one after the other?) - No, I use the Checker tool only (available for all registered members - located in the upper menu next to the Preferences link) - it allows to easily monitor each and every NEW post in selected forums/topics.

Do you participate in the forum, under a member's name? - No, but from time to time I may post as an anonymous member

Did you have to apply to get this job? - Well, as you see there is no advertising etc. on this site and we don't plan to have such so this isn't a "for-profit website." However, if you know about Poland enough to write original articles (found in the Poland Articles section), you may apply to become a contributing writer. Also, in the near future we plan to have one or two additional moderators/contributors (this will be a voluntary or semi-voluntary position). I'll post more information in this section when I have more information.

Is the site monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? - for sure 7 days a week. I'd say about 14-18 hours a day.

Just another question please, who funds this forum? - The government of the the Polish Community Republic :). Seriously, this forum formally belongs to a Polish limited liability located in the state of Illinois, USA.

Some posts are funny or silly indeed, but I don't laugh at the posters (I believe each poster may have something interesting to say) - when I laugh I may laugh at the message content. :

If I may.

'Checker' which is located at the top of the page is a function which lists previous posts.

Hey Admin. Question for you:
Does it drive you crazy if "some of us" keep changing their avatars?
