Approximately how much per meter does a flat in the Old Town cost? I'm looking at a 50 meter flat. Do you know of any estate agents who can give me a rough figure? Thanks.

I'd say that that is a bit high to be honest.

If that's true, that's up from about 6-7 thousand just a year ago. What's your source?

Interesting. No reply, ergo no source, just as I thought.

I am an independent house agent working in that area. If you need any advice or help please contact me via email: falkowski@mf.nieruchomosci.pl

Sorry, but if you're flogging property at a ridiculous markup, you're anything but independent.

What's with the vast amount of English speaking clowns working in property in Poland?

Promesa5 was the one who quoted ridiculous prices without a source. I live in a 50m flat in Old Town. My landlady may sell it after the summer and she knows I want to buy it but she hasn't set price and terms yet. I jusy want to know an approximate ballpark figure for a fair price so we can begin talking. Thanks.

That was certainly a useful contribution to this thread. Thanks for sharing. Now does anyone have something to add?

it was a joke man. I even said I'm kiddin'. Why is everyone so damn serious on this forum?
To your question. Well, it's ridiculous but true, Poland is more expensive than US, you should already know it by now. I just bought a really nice house in NC for $149K. I don't need to tell you what you get in Poland for that money.

Where in NC? I lived in Jacksonville for 2 years a long time ago. I like NC even though my home in the US was San Diego.

Everyone's not seriuos, but I'm looking for answers to my wuestion, not humor. No offense meant.

you might get a run down apartment in the worst street in town, don't forget Poland is not the USA, only the rich can purchase in Poland.

I am not sure if you ( scottie 1113) read in Polish, but here is a link to an interesting website. It gives you a rough idea of average cost of sq meter of a flat in Gdansk.

thanks for reminding me, lol. Well, that's why I called it ridiculous, the prices are way too high for majority of Poles.
