Who can help us? WE NEED A AUTHORITATIVE ANSWER!

My Parents left Poland 35 years ago and moved to Germany.
In Poland we are owners of a (free of debt/unmortgaged) house.
Now my family is in big trouble and needs money so fast as its possible!
Selling the house would take to long! So we have this question:

1. IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A HYPOTHEC FROM A POLISH BANK OF A POLISH REAL ESTATE IF YOU ARE A GERMAN CITIZEN?
2. IF "YES", HOW MANY PERCENT (%) OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE REAL ESTATE IT WOULD BE?

Why? You can do everything in a day if funds are available.

Yes, although it's going to take several weeks - and you might find that the banks will do very thorough checking of you.

No idea. Banks tend to make this stuff up as they go along, especially for esoteric cases.

If you really need cash quickly, it shouldn't be a problem to sell the place for 50% of the market value quickly..

I think the word you're looking for is "mortgage" (Hypothek = hypotek = Pfandleihe)

Nobody can really tell you, it depends on your earnings or some income like rent, having a property is not enough to get a loan as it does not mean you can pay the loan back.

Depends how good a client you will be. However, if your family is in extreme financial difficulty, the bank is unlikely to regard you as being worth the effort.

Why don't you approach a German bank? Some of them are also present in Poland, such as Deutsche Bank and DnB Nord.

Thanks for your answers and your tip about the german banks in poland, i didnt know this
and i will engage to get some informations, if it is possible on the german banks.

No, my familiy has no financial trouble, but there is a serious illness in the family, so we want
to live together in a more-generation concept and to buy a big house which is concept to this
illness, we need more money than we have....
And it is very urgent, so we want to sell the house in poland or to get a credit on it!
And if the german banks in poland will give no mortgage, i have to know IF POLISH BANKS WILL
GIVE A MORTGAGE/HYPOTHEC on this house (unfortunately my polish is not so good to
phone with this banks!).
