Hi there,

My Polish wife and I are looking forward to buying an apartment in Gdansk in the very short term from a developper.
He asks me for NIP and PESEL, which I do not have, as I do not work and live in Poland and am not a Polish citizen.
Is it really compulsory?

Thanks for your replies

NO. You do not need a NIP or a Pesel to buy a flat.
Ask him WHY?

no, not at all.
Its pretty irrelevant from the developers point of view anyway.

You do not need a NIP or PESEL to buy a flat.

You should ask the developer about the special 20% foreigner discount (he he he)
