Any Rent Guarantee Insurance in Poland? Tenants& Landlords In Poland

A Polish friend of mine rented his flat in Warsaw to a European foreign student who stopped paying his rent but continued to live on the premises for months .Finally this terrible tenant accepted to leave but still my friend lost several months of rent. Is there like in the UK France Germany a RENT GUARANTEE INSURANCE and Rent recovery in Poland available for Landlords? Thanks for info.

As far as I know such a product does not exist in Poland yet. We are now working with a company in the Czech Republic to provide this to Czech landlords and at some stage they plan to expand to Poland. Regards, Simon. simpropertygroup.com

Funny though that big insurance companies in Poland do not offer this kind of insurance given the number of people who rent in Poland: Rent guarantee insurance policies are very popular in the UK France Germany. Imagine you rent a place for 1000zl a month , taking someone to court and paying ridiculous legal fees is not worth it. My Polish friend from Warsaw will not do it...
