Does anyone have any updates/knowledge of the development?

I've seen a few articles in Gazeta Krakowsa and also the website: jezioromucharskie.pl

But does anyone know if it will be possible to buy land nearby?

Also does anyone know when/if it will be confirmed that it will be possible to use the lake for recreational purposes (e.g. boating etc.), as the website suggests this is still under discussion?

I believe building work will be completed next year and then the site will be filled by some point in 2015.

According to nearby boroughs heads - flooding of the area should start before the end of 2015 (optimistic version), and it may take 2 years to complete the filling. Next thing is proper infrastructure development - but the boroughs doesn't have enough money for it yet. So concluding - it's hard to say more specific when the whole investment will be complete. It's Poland. Usually everything takes more time than predicted.


It depends from landscaping policy for this area, ask local authorities.
