Just out of interest.Of all the people on this site that relocated to poland.
What were the reasons
Love (to be with a partner).
work (sent by the boss).
work (to set up a bussiness).
Just for a change (if so why poland).
just to travel and pass tru poland on the way.
or basicaly because of a love of poland.

Do you mean Polish people who come back to Poland after several years in another country or foreigners who moved to Poland?

As much as I wish you good luck, it may not be a good idea for you to go back to Poland "just like that". You think it was nice when you were 3, but now when you're older you'll most likely see everything from a different point of view. You don't have friends there; if you do - they changed and they will look at you differently now... I suggest you to visit Poland during vacation - and then when you like it, think about moving permanently.

Cheers!!

I have not seen Poland yet, but have already decided to move there within 2 years. I know I am going to lose many things which I already built here in Germany and I am surely going to have a real tough time there learning the language, getting a job and so on... But I still think that it is worth as far as I am getting to make my darling to realize her dream of living with me in Poland.

Love is a very reasonable reason.

Love- BF in studies
Adventure- I was here in less than 2 weeks after the possibility presented itself!
Fate- Who'd a thunk it? From small town MI to Poland? I never did!
Youth- I'm too young to not live everywhere once!

I don't care where you come from where your going is always better even if it's going back home!

I'm agree with you but the beers and the tomatoes please man!

Beers ok, could be, but the czechs beers are much better, but the vodkas oh my godness! are delicious. I love the wodka żóbrówka

And the tomatoes are better in south america indisputably.

the kasza is a very simple food that I love here in poland

But the women are pretty, although a little shy.

and for me is interesting can see the socrealist architecture, for example in Marzsałkowska avenue.

Enjoy Poland , greetings. Do widzenia.

I like a happy topic.. what i like about Poland

The Polish women are very tasty

The Off Road is excellent

The Forests and mountains are untainted by "picnic parks" and "lay bye"

There are Bears, Bison and Wolves.

The climate changes from -20 to +40 celsius

Beer is good

Vodka is good

Town and Cities are modern

Villages and countryside are old

Infrastructure is good

Black druggies, white druggies, wasters and society dropouts accepted by UK and America just FREEZE to death here :-)

I will move to PL as of October 1st, having accepted a job in Crakow. Some of my reasons ( I have been to PL once only, very recently) 4 this decision:

1. I think it is an adventure
2. I find it a challenge to live in a country of which I don't speak the language
3. I like the atmosphere in PL - it seems to be laid-back and open; people seem to have a curiosity and interest in other people
4. Cost of living is considerably lower than in Western Europe
5. I found the buildings and scenery in Krakow very beautiful
6. The city seemed to be very clean
7. Krakow is well situated wrt other countries/cities (Budapest, Bratislava, Praha) I will like to visit
8. There is a lot of space and nature in PL

I am on the road to moving to Poland this year. I have given the USA a chance with no results. Time to change my life since I only have this one life to live. I studied in Poland and achieved a masters degree in the fine arts. I am now 52 and I have missed the true meaning of life which is true friends all around. I traveled this year and told only two people. When I arrived there, everybody came out of the woodwork. Quite a reception after almost 30 years. I am looking forward to this change in my life. Can't wait for the excitment to begin. If you really want to go to Poland then my opinion is "GO FOR IT".
No need to be afraid of anything. They will welcome you with open arms.
