I adopted the Polish culture by way of my husband

Hey everyone, I met my husband 2 and a half years ago and he and his entire family are Polish. Since then I've surrounded myself with everything Polish, lol. I'm not too amazing at speaking the language at it, he's been helping me since he and his mother are both fluent. Just thought I'd share <3

I get from this post that the mother and family are not living in poland am i write. I am married two and a half years to a pole and i will never adopted the culture i have witinessed in the part of poland where his family lives. It is not living they do its existing and women just do not have the same amount of freedom in his village that i have been used to in the uk. For example most of the women in the village don't drive and don't even want to learn sure why woild they when their husband can do it. Any way there is no where to drive to cos there is absoulty nothing to do. Their life is just filled with hard work to surrive and drinking vodka as there is still nothing to do after work. When i was there in the winter it was dark at 3pm in the afternoon the roads were really bad it was freezing out and the only thing to do is drink vodka. AND I DON'T EVEN DRINK. this has been my experience.

I think you just had bad luck to have come across ignorant brutes who are only able to toil in the field and then drink vodka. I also wouldn`t like to stay there and would refuse to adopt such culture from my foreign partner.

Not all Poles are like that, of course.

yeah i know all poles are not like i know so many well educated poles living it up in london. But there are lots of

ignorant brutes and brutessa living like this and they seem to be under the impression that we in the uk are all millionares. They seem to have a chip on there sholulder and believe they have gotten a raw deal,
