People don't have their stomachs pumped out for drinking too much alcohol. Think before you post.

Grow up. I am talking about other substances these people take. Smart arse, when you are on the receiving end of these people you would not be so smart.

So a high divorce rate is to be expected.

Poland has one of the lowest divorce rates in Europe.

Warsaw has the highest divorce rate in Poland. But it's still lower than most other European capital cities. On the countryside the divorce rate is very low.

ok well i know wikipedia is hardly a reliable source but here it is anyway:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_at_first_marriage#Europe

The poles I met were in the rural areas so I guess it makes sense with youth marriages.

Interesting, it says 30 for male Brits. I have another 6 years of freedom then lol.

Agree with that statement... just like you brits dont go to work drunk but on coke (its always better... u can work harder and more efficiently)

Definitely true in the media!

zetigrek:
Did you heard about "zatrucie"? You have to go fast to hospital or vomit before all alcohol will be absorbed from your digest system...
Think before you post something. ;P

I have actually performed gastric lavage on poisoned people myself, but never on someone who was only drunk.

You do realise that if someone has ingested enough alcohol to be semi-conscious (i.e., "poisoned"), it's too late to stop the poisoning by removing any alcohol left in their stomach? "Stomach pumping" is dangerous even if it is done correctly, even in drug overdose, and is NEVER done "routinely" in poisoning:

No you weren't, you were replying to a post where drunks were mentioned, not "drug takers".

I've already been on the "receiving end" of hundreds (if not thosands) of these kind of people, and I'm still here, so I'm clearly smarter than you are, "Guest" :p

The he/she knows nothing about Poland, It lives in a cocoon and likes to shout from the safety of the uk. Quite a sad lonely person really, nothing in its life but can use strong language as a means of communication.

I joined this forum in 2006 before my first visit to Poland, I googled "Polish pleasantries" and it brought me here..I like to be able to at least say "please and thank you" its just the way I was brought up.

zetigrek:

such a toil on society

Are they toiling away? How ironic your spelling mistake is! It really did make me laugh. Unlike your pathetic rantings of your view of British society!

Better for your English would a more simplistic version:

*dont say I didnt teach you something tonight*

We also have another saying:

Wax on wax off!

thats something I'll leave you to find out for yourself.

Very big cities always have higher rates.

17,2 % is the total divorce rate in Poland.

And we should remember that Poland has higher marriage rate than many other European countries.
