Hi everyone. I met a polish guy at work and we beame friends. I was in a realationship with my bf of 5 years which had been bad for over a year and wanted to leave. I fell for the polish guy and told him i liked him and gave him my number. He called, we meet up and pent 2 days together. I slept with him on first night (bad i know) we had a wonderful time, he drunk alot of beer (i'm guessing this is a common polish trait) he told me he loved me lots (i think he meant like) and asked me to leave my boyfriend every ten minutes. He had a big problem with me having a bofriend (do polish men cheat often?) we went back to work and I asked him if he still wanted me to leave my bofriend (now he was not drunk) he would not really answer and replied with i might go back to poland in 1 year - ??? I have left my boyfriend because it is a bad realationship that was not working and i feel bad for cheating on him an don;t want to do thaat again but would love to see the polish guy again. I asked him if he wanted to go for beer after work and he said - 'no, maybe another time' what does this mean is it NO or does he really mean another time? I have told him I have left my bf but he has not asked me out. I reaally like him we had a wonderful time and I would like to see him again but not sure if I have just been used for a quick shag or if he does like me but was put off by boyfriend??? I don;t know any other polish people so have no idea of the culture - what are they like? Do they have more morals than english men? Hve I blown my chances and is theree anything I can do to show him I am serious about liking him? help would be apprecited please ( Also I know it is verry bad to cheat on my ex boyfriend and i am sorry it was not intentional)

So you banged him when he knew you were with someone else and now you expect him to trust you in a relationship with him?
F'ck buddies at best.

He's not the one who's cheating. How often do you cheat, then?

He doesn't want to see you again because he clearly sees you as some slapper who cheats on her boyfriends. Few single men will ever turn down sex with a woman they find attractive, but it doesn't mean we are willing to date someone with history of cheating!

don't put any pressure on the guy - if you really like him just let him know without expecting anything - if he's responsive good for you - if not move on

and actually if the guy is some serious drinker you could be in for even more trouble than with your English bf

This might be a lost case I'm afraid, you had a fun time and it's all it was, expecially to the guy. I don't think this story would turn out any different if he was not Polish. Of course he told you a lot of nice stuff when you were both drinking and having sex for 2 days, it doesn't get much better than that lol. Take the booze away and the reality kicks in. Not many guys will take you seriously after sleeping with them so early on, whether you were attached at the time or not (which as you yourself realise is not the right thing to do under any circuimstances). TRY your hardest to put this behind you, he's given you enough hints to let him be. Be polite to him and don't act hurt or offended around him, definitely DO NOT confide in anyone at your workplace (!!!). Put it down to experience and move on, try being single for a while, going from one bad relationship straight into another is never a good idea. Take care!!

If man wants to be with a woman he finds interesting he will do everything. If he seems not to know, is reluctant and stretches things in time so you are confused and unsured it simply means that the chance is really very small.

souixe13, he told you that he loved you, asked you to leave your boyfriend, and then acted like it never happened. Why would you want a man like that? He's an idiot. Just because you slept with him has nothing to do with it. Find someone better.
