I have recently broken up with my girlfriend and alot of drama went down during this, her family was involved, specifically her mother (Polish Native) My ex and I are on talking terms and remain friends but her family still despises me. I am looking for help on how to go about making amends with her mom. Is there some kind of gift that i could give that would show how sincere i am? How to polish folks go about making amends and apologizing.. is there any difference from americans?

please help!

just leave it alone. you will never win with this. you are friends with the girl- leave it that way. you don't need the mother in your business anymore. consider yourself lucky.

family take sides and multiply the problem. u are now a marked man and for the m-in-l to accept an apology would show weakness not strength of character. she will be backstabbing u for the rest of her days.
