Hello,

I saw a lot of similar topics but most of them differs than each other in details. And If someone can write me the answer step by step, it will be appreciated. including costs...

My question:

I am from out of EU but living in Poland. I have a temporary residency card.
My girl friend is from Poland and we want to marry.
What are the procedures exactly including costs approximately?
How many days before should we start doing these documentation thing before we get married.
Also, we may move to other country ( UK or Sweden) due to our job requirements. Should I get visa, work permission and so on again after we get married ?

P.S. Please do not make any comment like " do you want to marry to move to those countries? " Even i should get visa or not we will marry. I want to learn the procedures. I wish people here to be helpful. Also I may move where ever I want, i dont have any economical problems

P.S.2 : p.s1 is written due to the some answers i have just seen on this forum

Thank you

You know that the fact that you bring it up all by yourself without anyone even asking makes it quite certain it isn't really true? :-)

That depends where you are from and where you wish to marry. It also slightly depends what your legal status is here.

Without P.S. A lot of people will make comments like i mentioned. On the other hand, with P.S. some people will write something you wrote. Look wider, read a lot of topics here, people are going out of the scope and trying to interrogate about religion or the other things. Question is easy, simple and clear. If you don't know the answer, do not go to the beyond of the topic please.

Or what?

Seriously, cry me a river.

If you're Turkish/Kurdish chances are you'll be on a Ryanair to London 10 days into your honeymoon, because marrying or fake-marrying some tart from Eastern Europe has become a favourite way of "becoming legal" in Europe for you boys.

I have a temporary residence card, and renewing it every year

Which will not get renewed after you're done with your studies, as you're well aware. Unless you, I dunno, get married to stay legally.

Europe has enough problems with immigrants leeching off our social benefits.

I see how helpful is this forum. That was a simple question.... When I graduate, I will make master if you are so interested in knowing it. And I didn't ask if you think it is fake or not. If i wanted to have a fake, i could do it 10 times. That is also not your business. I see some people are so interested in creating problems. I never complain about any ethnic but heard a lot about Polish people at UK and Germany. However, I didn't say any word ! Because my question is based on marriage. Also I heard a lot about other nations too. But They are not my business ! That is why, whenever i hear something bad about Poland or Polish; I say " do not tell me, not my business". But as i see, everything is your business. Go on like this....

Contact the Turkish embassy to ask about a certificate of no impediment. There's another thread here now titled "Getting married in Poland", the info you need is in there.
