yes... plus her or his parents, grandparents and sibilings... in one apartment, aprox. 50 sq ft...

and then, if both of them survive this situation, Poles get married...

real school of life...

No they don't, they live in separate apartments until every family member has been introduced to the other family members in the other family (even those living in the USA, Kazakhstan etc) then they wear black clothing and meet each other a last time before the wedding (similar to what you would call "date") but it's all very sad, we Poles are very sad people, just look at the Smolensk tragedy, we can mourn in a week!

Then when marriage is done we all eat each other!

on a serious note... yes, couples live together if their financial situation allows it...
if not, even after getting married, they have to suck it up and deal with the family...

That's ok, Torqy :) If it works, please use it as much as possible. Unlike the main man in America, plk123, I have copyrighted it and actively encourage its use.

Cohabitation is relatively common, I'd guess. Konkubinat or sth like that in Polish.

Even those do live together, they are just like friend, sleeping in separate room. Why you are asking this? Poland is devoted Catholic country, nothing can change that, and how can you expect Poles to break rules?
