It is a very common occurence, unfortunately. That's why anyone who dates one in the UK should be on their guard. Casual sex whilst having a partner abroad is not the way to go about things.

Not everyone is the same, much as PF loves sweeping generalisations.

Come on mate are you REALLY surprised? Probably she has someone who is prepared to make the right noises for her. As Beyonce said: If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it. She did actually TELL you this in a roundabout way when she said "Ring or I go back to Poland". This is not excusing such shoddy behaviour not condoning it but she did make it fairly clear where her priorities lay.

What I want to know is why you're only interested in Polish women if you don't have Polish language to at least competency level?

Even if its only to wonder why you have lost interest. If she does come back just say things like "ohh well life goes on", "im glad youre happy". Ah that was a lovely thing to say. I think that it is all down to the person and the personality, not the nationality. If you are a good person, you generally attract good people to have dates with or be friends with, regardless of their nationality. It is something special really.
