What do Polish Guys Like Women to Wear?

Hi, I'm going to stay with my new Polish boyfriend for the winter in his city-Krakow. We're both into metal and punk music and I dress accordingly..which often means big New Rock boots or Doc Martins, stretch jeans or little skirts...He wears casual clothes/band T-shirts and combats. But he didn't like my New Rock boots or my Doc Martins, kept laughing at me saying they were clumpy and unfeminine and I am feminine. I thought maybe he's not used to seeing them in Poland so I wore some strappy heels once and he said they 'were not me'....

In the end I just thought sod it and went back to the 'clumpy boots!' But now I'm going to Poland and looking on here it seems all Polish women are beautiful, feminine, dress well...etc etc etc. I don't want him to be embarassed with me and want to impress him....but I also don't want to teeter about on stilletoes because I'll be cold and walking around a lot. I have some (normal) black high heeled boots that I'm going to take but I was also going to take my black ugg boots because they're uber warm and I think they'll look cute with my little short skirts...

Then I read a post by a Polish woman saying that all Polish men think English women are 'ugly' because 'they wear cheap ugg boots'....

Do Polish men think ugg boots are ugly? And seriously, what the hell should I wear then?!!!!

boots are PRACTICAL

but sort of ;) lazy approach - yeah they are practical and well I don't bother ;)

I think you just simply need to try something different and see if it suits you - but, God, be yourself - if you are not really into smth why pressing yourself to do that

And again there we have it...Do you really care what Polish men think of you? Do they all pay your bills? Do they clean your house for you? Do they do all the shopping for you? No? Then let them go to hell with their opinion about you. F*ck them, those retard moralistic idiots who are themselves lightyears behind on any normal, modern Western man.

You, sweetheart, should wear what you like and not what others like. If he doesn't like what you're wearing, scr*w him and tell him to get lost. If clothing are that important to him, he is not worth your time and you should find yourself a guy who likes and loves you just for what you are, not what you wear. In the end he will take a Polish girl anyway and you were just an "easy" pastime for him.

I doubt it. Polish women don't wear them. So I also doubt many men here have expressed an opinion.

DM's were the fashion a few years ago. Some young women still wear them.

It might be worth checking the Closterkeller (goth-rock) website. They should have a link to a rock-goth fashion house.
Also, check the Rammstein apparel link. You'll see lots of big boots.

Just get some proper expensive Uggs not those awful cheap ones that kind of fold over after a bit of wear and quite honestly look worse than ugly.....yes alot of English girls wear them and they do look ghastly.

Well I don't think UGG boots are ugly so long as you wear them with the right clothes lol and obviously don't buy the really cheap tacky ones that look terrible after just a few wears.


I love my Ugg Boots and I have five pairs LOL


Lots of people wear them here where I live and they look good.....





They're great.

They look like leather ones ?

I prefer the suede outer ones with merino wool ......

I bought two pairs of leather ones recently but I dont like them lol
< they are not counted in the five other pairs I got >

Thats not actually true if you get a good make.

It's well known you go down a size or two when you buy them and they don't make your feet look big.


Spend a bit more and get a good make rather than the cheap, nasty imitations lol......

It's just a matter of preference at the end of the day. Short skirts, Lir? I thought they were wintery boots. Wouldn't you be a bit cold?

In general, a lot of people wear UGG boots with short/shorter skirts and thick tights. My boots are glued to me I wear them under jeans or trousers, wearing a skirt <no matter what length it is lol>

I don't really wear very short skirts, am happy to say .

They're great to drive in, walk in and they keep your feet and legs warm in Winter and cool in Summer.



Dunno what the issue is about them here.

It's like totally normal to wear them here where I live........most people do.....
