A Polish sister-in-law - how to welcome her into the family?

Hi there!

I just got word that my brother's proposal was accepted, and he and his Polish girlfriend are engaged. I was wondering if there's anything I can or should do to welcome her into the family. Are there any common place phrases or congratulations one uses? I should refer to her as "bratowa" when I send her a message?

She is only sister in law so you don't have to congratulate her... Also there's no phrases in use in that situation, you can say anything you want to say to her.
And yes, you can call her "bratowa", she shouldn't be offended.

Thank you for your reply :)
I decided to go with "Witamy w rodzinie bratowa!" at the end of my message.
Maybe my grammar is wrong, but I hope she likes it anyway. I figure it's the thought that counts.
