Polish women cattiest in the world?

Polish women are the most aggressive in the world, claims an American researcher.



Phyllis Chesler, quoted by the Polska The Times says Polish females are jealous, backbiting and cruel - especially to other women.



They enjoy misfortune – both experienced by themselves and other people - and will actively contribute to it.



According to the research, women are more loyal towards men than women and will unite only when faced by a common enemy – usually another female - and most often in respect of a female boss.



This seems to be borne out by public opinion figures collected by the Polish CBOS office, according to which only 17 percent of Polish women had nothing against a female supervisor but 30% said this was “unacceptable”. (ek)

There is a Polish saying... A Pole is happy when somebody cries....

I think women in general like this... not just Polish ones...

My own opinion is that its a silly report....all women can be catty...its not just a Polish thing...

Really, then maybe the OPs post is correct, I know I can call any of my girlfriends at any time day or night if I have a problem or Im upset, the same can be said for them contacting me..Maybe you're just not used to that..

Not only women but ppl generally are helpful only then when they are expecting some gratification in future. I agree with everything which is said in this article. Women in general are much more comptitive and calculating.

I'm surprised that Poland beat Russia though. Maybe there aren't enough Russians in the US where this analysis originated from.

Well, that's weird... All my direct bosses were women and they were all OK, very supportive actually. Doesn't mean they were perfect in every way, of course, but who is? I had a problem only with one woman at my work, but that's just the way she is.
Well, anyway, most of my friends are women :)

I've seen cattiness here to a significant extent but it tends to be a certain type. The older women who work in shops either tend to be passive or mildly participative workers and not catty. Quite pleasant as opposed to their elderly customers. Some are just trying out their boss impersonations for the job they will never have :)

Keep running for 'princess' status, ladies, you do it all so well :)

Then they're not friends...Of course with work colleagues its different..you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours..kinda thing..But if I do something for a friend I dont expect something in return..I also dont feel "obliged" to return a favour if a friend does something..Because we do things for each other because we are friends.

yes, yes.. very true with polish broads. they flash a smile and goddamn dracula music can be heard. However you didn't need a PHd to ascertain this, just talk to some poor bastards who happened along their path. i.e. this site.

Catty is not the right expression to use at all....no cat has ever caused me the grief a woman has...
