I've got 2 stories to tell, but will save the other for another time. Recently I dated a Polish girl for a few months. Got on well and really like her a lot, but nothing happened. She seemed to like me but ended up rejecting me, to my shock to be honest, but we decided to stay friends. I was upset, texted her, called. She was really hard to talk to, i had questions, but getting an answer was hard.

Now she goes days ignoring me, right after saying she wants me to be her friend. So hard to understand her her. Whats the best way forward, how to get her to talk again? Polish girls seem really changeable and have an incredible ability to ignore you. Seems cold. Is it their mentality or what?

A great guy like you, I'm not surprised.

I will tell you THE SECRET of Polish girls but keep it just between the both of us.
There is a 'talk to me' switch behind her left earlobe, if you switch this, she will be your friend.
If that fails you could just stalk her.

A girl just dumped you, get over her.

That is what happened.

Do not think for a second that you are the first guy in the world who,
(A) has got dumped,
(B) came on here and tried to tie it in to the fact that she was Polish (heaven forbid it should be anything else).
(C) doesn't understand women.

You can continue to think that it is a Polish trait if you wish and that "They" are very cold and do not like to talk to their ex's when they dumped them.
Or you can go find yourself a nice girl and get on with it.

Just forget about her.Thats the mentality of most polish girls especially when they find someone they think is better than you.U can meet a polish girl telling u that she has a boyfriend but once she agrees to meet and talk with u just carry on with her.The time she will get to know that ur better than him she will dump him straight up!
Nway im not encouraging people to break up the relationships of others but i just want to tell you to not waste ur time thinking of her.Try to date someone else afterall there are a lot of them

People do this all the time...She got bored with you, time to move on, her saying she would stay friends was a mistake, she was far too nice.

Someone is hurt... and you dont even have the slightest compassion to be good to that person. What kind of values did you gather in life?

The other side of the story would be more enlightening:

I'll have a go:

Met english guy, he was fun as friends for a while but I got bored.

Didnt text him for days thinking he would get the message.

Unfortunately he is dumb and now contacts me all the time which is really creepy.

Wish I had never met him .. why are 90% of british guys utter losers..

---

Yours Sincerely,

Miss A Pole

Some good posts there thanks. We weren't actually together so why shouldn't we be able to be friends? Well the thing is she changes her mind all the time about everything and well I guess the other story explains it all better.

I was seeing a young, gorgeous, tall Polish girl for about 7 months, was pretty serious. She was amazing, until the end. We moved to different cities, and she was so damn cruel. She moved to Scotland, me to London. I took a 12 hour bus ride to go and see her, her job was taking up so much time, it was all I could do to try to stay with her. I got there, her attitude had really changed with this sales job she was doing. I gave up my job to be with her, we argued about the fact she was living with a bunch of guys and spending more time with them than me when I was there. She came back early from work one day. Grinned at me as I asked why. She just whispered to me then and then stood there grinning while this black guy and another work colleague threatened me and got me to leave. So off I went on a long bus ride with no job. After so long together, she never spoke to me again. All I got was a call from this black guy saying they were together. She was a cruel b*tch make no mistake about it. Even her Polish girlfriends started to dislike her. With her job she had suddenly changed and become very bossy. I had lent her money she never paid back, and then she was accusing me of looking at her money, incredible. But to never speak again and finish it like that was just disgusting.

And that practical experience was at being dumped, was it?

That is it exactly.

It is a learning Kurve and humouring a guy who wants to blame it on nationality, would be counter constructive Lodz_The_Boat.

Poleaxe, duh, she said she wants me to be her friends. So it makes no sense that she would ignore me.

Also, I'm not blaming anything on nationality. I'm trying to understand the mentality. Some of the best people I have met are Polish and many of them are great. Please don't misunderstand me.

We dated, but we weren't together... If you go on a date with someone, does it automatically mean you're together that instant?

Barr,

I'm going to be polite as I can here..

None of your problems have anything to do with these ladies nationality. There is no radically different mentality, after all Europe is a small place. We dont walk backwards here!

It sounds like you get treated like a doormat and are emotionally needy.A shrink is a good idea.

For both points there is nothing concerning PolishForums, in fact the reason why you get responses that are sarcastic is because its really boring.

I wish you all the best in the future, but please dont come whining on here- this forum is usually an interesting place, not some lonely hearts club

You are really tiresome Time Means.

Why not just say i disagree and put something constructive forward?

Does that involve too much thought?

If you want to blub all night with the guy no worries.... but why pointlessly criticise me?

It's a shame people feel the need to be hostile, I thought I'd share a few experiences, try to understand some things. Saw plenty of posts here on this forum about how Polish girls think, act, etc.
