When to say I love you..

Well, it's been a fair while since I posted anything, had the stinky tummy bug and then the even stinkier cold virus, but over the festive period have spent a great deal of time all snuggled up with new man.... and we've got very close very quickly.. and you know when you can just feel that the other person is feeling the same.. I've been seeing him for not quite one month now and we're getting on so well I almost need to keep on pinching myself to just make sure it's not some lovely dream. So... I know I can feel myself falling a little for him.. and him for me.. but I also know it's not the right time just yet to tell him how I feel. Yesterday morning, in the throes of passion, he tells me he loves me... this is possibly too much information and I apologise if I've offended anyone here.. but eek!! I really wasn't expecting it... and I really didn't know how to reply.. so rather embarrassingly I said nothing ... your opinions please ... I feel a bit odd... it should have felt great and special and now I'm really not sure...

If you dont 'love' him dont tell him you love him, nothing to feel strange about, the words will come natural when you want to use them.

First of all congratulations. Don't rush into things, take it slowly. Take time for the feelings to soak in. Sometimes when things happen too fast, you lose the details in between. Like Shelley said, the words will come naturally, when you feel ready.

If anything, it's the perfect time to tell him. That doesn't mean telling him you feel more than you do - tell him in return how much you do like him and that you're getting where he is, or however strongly you do feel. It's not lying and quite saying you love him and it's better than not saying anything. Why don't you tell him what you have told us?

Take your time. If you are not sure do not say it. Also he may be saying it to test your feelings. Be honest you can say you have strong feelings and love may grow.

My new lady friend is russian we have met twice in St Petersburg for very long weekends and have been communicating for over four months. I have very strong feelings for her and she for me. I have not said I love her because I am not sure and I want to get to know her better. She feels affection for me but it worries her she does not love me, yet anyway. I say to her do not worry about this because a growing love is a lasting love. She believes in instantaneous love which in her life has never lasted.

Never say "I love you". I've said it to one person and boy was it pointless. Show it! :D

he said it first, so now youre kinda more in control of how things go from here. i agree that it is a bit early, wouldnt expect hearing that from a SOBER bloke that soon really! congrats! did he mention anything about it later, or seemed hurt that you didnt reply with i love you too? dont force yourself into saying anything because youll just get frustrated and feel like youre not being honest with him. love is not a race. see if he does it again next time ;). good luck!

there is no time when youre trying to say i love you..let the heart speaks...there are two kinds of saying i love you in time..you have to say it because you dont know if you ever find a chance to say it...and...sayiong i love you to someone because the heart command it..regardsless of the response..

if you are a man, say it before her. but, you may be a loser. as saying it first will mean giving control to her and she will likely consider you are weak. but, you don't like her to be loser, do you.. if you like her to lose, you dont love her. i never said love to any. i said once to one only just to make her happy. she was happy when she was saying NO..

I believe it means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. I think it also means different things to women than that it means to men sometimes. Do you want me to explain my idea of love? Or maybe I could explain it better by telling you what love doesn't mean to me? Regardless, I think she knows best whenever she's feeling completely happy with someone.

I normally never say I love you but this was a reason I lost one Polka.Then I realized women want to hear that.They usually say I love you after sex I don't know why.When she tells it,you have to tell it back otherwise she becomes embarassed.
