How about 10 things to remember if you ARE a Polish girlfriend? I can think of one right away: anything you are better at then he is, you might want to pretend it is an accident. If you can't do that, have a list in mind to remind him of all the things he can do better.

Chances are that your Polish girlfriend not only speaks English, German, and Russian (how many languages do you speak) but also has a pretty good grasp of a lot of things that you slept through at school. You’re only hope is to pretend that such things ‘aren’t considered important in Western culture’ and shrug until she buys it.

A marvel? The system which condones cheating and has next to no effective punishments for those caught cheating? The same system which teaches endless useless rubbish to university students, just because they can't sack old professors with out of date knowledge? The same system that wastes endless amounts of money on having a break between secondary and high schools? The same system that allows schools to have double or even triple shifts, rather than simply putting the kids into "worse" schools? The same system that produces endless amounts of inexperienced individuals with a "master" degree, yet the same people end up working for 1500zl netto? Or the same system that equips the same students with absolutely no work skills?

There are some good aspects, but the Polish education system is very poor in many respects.

1) It's always Aniołku anyway so I can get round that one

2) Yeah, flowers brighten up the place so I don't mind buying them

3) It depends on her preferences. My wife loves mending things. The tea? It depends who is closer :)

4) It isn't always that way but painful when it is. Still, keeping the pace slow is no bad thing at times

5) You can touch them in such situations. Is that so bad? ;)

6) I was chatting with her mum today. I got the thumbs up very early on so I can't complain.

7) Oh, she outstrips me in the eating department but she's still 40 kgs lighter. Ah well, my diet, 2 footie games and swimming in the next 3 days will set me off on a good road. 2am is her munching time.

8) Oh, my wife thinks differently. I can't kiss any other woman bar her.

9) She would like to think so. We speak the same languages (English and Polish) and we know the same other languages pretty well (French and Japanese). Her parents speak fluent German so she was exposed to some as a kid.

10) Yeah, she enjoys it ;)

I don't understand the secondary school vs high school differentiation, and I have no idea of what "break" you might be speaking. Like a period of free time, or what? Am puzzled.

I have been with a Polish girl for 1,5 years. I can not say I am agree with all of them and most of them are same for girls from all over world ... Anyway I can add this Polish girls are more jealous than others ... :=)

The problem with the educational system is that middle class wants to force their incompetent offsprings which I call shitters in high positions.They have invented some systems to do that but lately the model doesn't not function because we think how to demolish them from the ground.Basically it is tricky causing damage and sabotage from the inside till everything collapses.You see how it works in Greece,

My ex was happy I hated footie, he was also happy that I'd drop him off sober on match days and pick up not so sober, that was the extent of my involvement in football and it worked well..I actually find it quite unnatural when women clad themselves in football shirts and understand the offside rule.

The girls seldom understand the magic of ball rolling.I remember when we played football with whatever availabale(commonly plastic bottles) in school and girls just spoke to each other.I always thought girls are so useless they cannot play football,they don't hunt they only talk and talk.
