Unfortunately the anecdote stopped short of saying what would have been done in England, Ireland, Germany and elsewhere.

The English would have politely declined.

polishcanuck:
I agree. Sometimes i wonder where these brits found the courage to marry polish women. Boy are they in for a surprise.

I dont think so, English women have been strong dominant women since time began, I have no idea where Polsh women get the idea that they monolpolise this area along with others! Talk about self obsessed! Jeez, you just stay in the kitchen where you belong!

As a final comment before bed, I ask PF members which Polish woman ever started a fully-fledged war?

Almost all the bloodshed, wars and heartache on a global scale have been caused by men. Now correct me if I'm wrong but there are more women than men in the world.

We all have our foibles.

They can be demanding but, then again, so can many people.

Demanding is not necessarily bad. Did you know it's the ambitious, demanding people who actually get somewhere in life? Why do you want to talk people out of qualities that can help them succeed?

Oh and as far as comments go I've heard people say negative things about others, it's common. They say it in English right in front of others who speak the same language, especially where I'm from. They can be rude over here. Rudeness and bad manners are universal.

Some characteristics of polish women:
1.Natural,floating with emotions,esthetic,like slavic women
2.Warm and cold
3.Passive
4.Talk a lot
5.Have some plans

Basically they have some plans. That is why sometimes they appear cold to embarassment. But then again they
6.Have no taboos in sex. They do everything to please.A bonus point. And because Poland is big you never can avoid them(how could you?).

The plan of polish women:
Find a man-fek him good-live with him-fek him really good day and night-become pregnant with him-marry him.
These are the stages of the plan.
Results:
1.Polish women appear sticky because they want always to be with you, they leave you no personal space.
2.Polish women want you always at home to have sex with them. They have no interest visting other places etc, they just want you inside home with them
3.Polish women put their legs on you while on sofa in order to state that you will hug them and that you have to stay all the time in this home since you are wrapped between their legs
4.Polish women are like cats
5.That is why when I get suffocated by the polish women I call the czech girls to free me.
6.Polish women are very jealous. They never let you look at other girls while they are with you

So if you don't propose to a polish woman inside 3 months form the time the sex time began(which is usually in the first three days of the relationship),she will leave you because she will have to find sb to marry with.So if she can alternate 4 boyfriends every year,it is very likely that she will find sb who will marry her before she gets 23.
So do polish women have lovers and many boyfriends simultaneously?Probably yes, because so do all slavic women. But the lover is not in the czech meaning of lover where a woman tells I have a boyfriend and five lovers. He is regarded also as future groom.Mix of slavic attitude with catholicism gave some strange fruits which continue to amaze.

Ask a Polish woman to cook you something. They make simple and often delicious food. For example, request them to make a soup for you. Heavenly!!

Not necessarily. Most of them might be good cooks as have been taught by mothers and grandmothers but it's not a rule at all.

I didn't say it was a rule. Many value home cooking and do it well, that's all I was trying to say.

Amen. I guess if 51% of them make good soup, that might be considered typical.

It's hard to contribute to many threads as too many generalisations come out. I'm just happy that my fiancee can make sushi, pierogi and all sorts of cakes.

pierogi and all sorts of cakes.

Pierogi - tasty but too work intensive. We usually get them store bought.
Cakes - my wife lets me do 75% of the baking as I have the sweet tooth. But I have taken on a few Polish desserts.

If you were supposed to pick one of the Polishforums members as the typical Polish woman, who would you think of? I noticed there are quite a few Polish females so it's just a thought.

Spoken like a true Pole, ignoring the foreign aspects and focussing on their own things ;) ;)

Sushi is more intricate than pierogi. We have a pierogi former and it's not that hard if you're not too heavy handed. She doesn't often make them as they are so readily available.

Hard to say, maybe panienka

JustysiaS
krysia
panienka
polishgirltx
Wyspianska

That's all I can think of now. All of them have features typical for Polish women, why do you think panienka is the winner, Seanus? It's a pure experiment, don't worry girls, I don't intend to offend you.

I'm not talking about competition here. For one, it's unfair as they don't know they are being judged.

Secondly, I could equally have said any of the others. I said panienka because she sprung to mind.

They are all nice and show the feisty, yet feminine ways of Polish women.

Then there is:
Eurola
Switezianka
Maybe not as vocal as those you mentioned, but they march to their own drum beat and will let you know when you have crossed the line in their own way.

They both stand their ground too. Eurola is something of a social commentator, pretty good at it.

Switezianka is more the reasoned academic

Maybe it's because of the age too, I'm not sure about Switezianka and Eurola but JustysiaS and Wyspianska are young as they have pictures of them in their profiles. These two like to be loud and a little rude sometimes but in an attractive way. I was suspecting them to be one person for a while.

Typical Polish woman?

Must be catholic, but with easy attitude toward religion.

The rest is a matter of individual experiences and expectations... Living in Poland I can say that there's something like typical Polish female... It concerns also a physical appearance, character, kind of personality, sexual behavior, and individual attitude toward universal values...

I guess that typical Polish woman is too abstract phenomena that everyone can understand differently...

That's nonsense, the number of practising Catholics was around 55% at the time of JPII. It has gone down a fair bit since then apparently. This whole idea of the Catholic faith being at the forefront has had its heyday.

Asking my students and looking around, it's not as prevalent as people think.

Are you Catholic, fred?
