I am only now seeing this thread. You tell a touching story, WR.

wildrover:
For the first year i felt very alone on my quiet farm in the forest..by the second year i got used to it...by the third year i began to like it...during the fourth year it became normal...and i loved it....

Indeed solitude has a way of becoming your friend, while often your enemy at the same time. I could tell a very similar life tale.

wildrover:
love chooses its own path , and its not always the shortest or easiest one....

So true.

A true modern adventurist you are. Truth be known, many here envy your bravery. Best of luck on this next adventure.

Good man. ;)

It seems this farm has some darkness about it...something that wants to make me sleep and not make progress , my Russian lady can feel it , and is happy i decided to leave the place for a while to go to her in Russia..

Ksusha has Gypsy blood in her , and can see and feel things beyond the normal , she always asks me how i am when we chat on skype , but its only being polite , she knows exactly how i am without me telling her...

When we met in Kiev i took with me a box of photo albums , the wooden box was from my farm , and she could could sense some darkness something way back in history that made the place very sad , its not anything evil , just sad...

It would be easy to dismiss what she feels as rubbish , but she has so often told me things that she could not have known unless she has some kind of gift....

On the plus side , it seems i shall have a long and happy life in the future...

Sorry to hear all this, W-R. Wish you all the best. At least you won't be leaving us.
I got ripped off over 20,000 zł by a PL builder, so I empathise.
If you still have your farm in PL, keep it for another five years if you can; it'll be worth a decent sized fortune then.
However, I fear for you in Russia. You'll have to be even more careful you don't get ripped off there!!

Thanks for your good wishes..My Russian lady is pretty streetwise , having lived in Moscow all her life , and i have lived long enough to know a con man when i see one..

I am sure we will be fine...

Did you read what that Sascha dude had to eat when he was broke. ;-/

It would give a goat the dry heaves.

The picture of the bear in post 127 could be Salman Rushdie in a bear suit, unless the fatwa on him was lifted.

I believe he has now sold this suit to an English woman named Mary Bale , the one who threw the cat in the bin....
