Reporting Illegal polish workers in UK to Hm customs

they are entitled to work here... just cos they havent sorted out the paper work is just beaurocracy...

bubba sorry but ive already reported it and im taking it all the way should HM customs conattc me aksing for a witness statement. Im not holding back like other brits do these days by playing chicken and not getting invovled.

i have lived and worked in a number of european countries without sorting the paper work... so what... its just a formality... not really hurting anyone...

Polish nationals need to apply for a permit to work in the UK within 3 months of finding a job in the UK if that job is expected to last more than one month, this permit lasts 1 year, after that as long as they have worked 12 months uninterrupted in the UK they no longer need concern themselves with the WRS- it’s just like a one off tax.

The employer is responsible for employing legal workers, they will be the ones in trouble.

EU citizens can travel freely throughout the EU, they need no residency permit to live in the UK.

I’m not talking through my arse, I’ve employed 100’s of Poles in the UK and as the guy who was going to have to answer for it I make sure I know my stuff.

You wanted to ‘hurt’ the Polish workers, ironically you will hurt their unscrupulous employer and their landlord, and yet you will have done the right thing, even if it was for the wrong reasons.

Accoding to the polcie oficer I spoke with they still need to BUY the residential permit. it snot a permit to work but to live.

Residential permit as in living = residential

EU passpowrt covers the no longer required working visa.

I know my stuff too. and so do the polcie that confired this.
