i don't remember the colour and only saw the licence plate briefly from far away - the guess of GB was more to do with a feeling "that doesn't look Polish" and then W and I both half-agreed it was a RHD.
(from these vague assumptions was a positive-sounding post created :D )

You know who it was? We have another piece of identifying information should the driver come forward ;)

my polish associate has a rhd 4x4 and will drive your route 2-3 times a week - could have been him

but will he drive down a dead-end road off the beaten track ? :)
