yes, for many years Moslon and Labbats have lead the way but for the last 10 years other brands came into the scene. Quebec province had them for years, so maybe it came from there.

I cannot speak for everybody, but me being at Uni in social studies definately helps. I think that in general Canadians always like to separate themselves from the American way of thinking. Also the history in of Canadian immigration was heavily influanced by French and English, with a sad history of the aborigianls.
