They're saying he was attacked coz he's a Pole......that's f*ckin bullsh*t!

Wrong place, wrong time & I hope he gets better so he can testify against the scumbags in court.

I'm sure if you look at street crime, per capita, Poles are no more likely than any other nationality to be a victim.

Unfortunately there have been a few high profile incidents involving Poles which sadly resulted in death but if you look at the local papers for any large (or even not so large) town over a few weeks or months you'll see that the vast majority of both assailants and victims in these cases, are Irish.

Absolutely, it really pi*sed me off that they're trying to take the race angle on this when it has nothing to do with it

Well, when in Poland someone is attacked and he happened to be: homosexual, black, jew, asian, feminist, non-catholic then its ALWAYS a racists/homophobic/antisemitic etc. attack. And there is no excuse that someone was in wrong place in wrong time... But you know it's Poland- the most intolarant place in the world, where catholic church makes people brainwashed and backwarded.

In comparison to growing up in Ireland, Poland is liberal, educated (I mean in a more secular way) and forward thinking.
