I am not married. But my fiancee did pick me when she could do far better. She is an amazing woman and I am thankful every day she loves me.

And imagine this....she makes good money and doesn't want to live in the USA. So I guess my passport and wallet are safe :)

Trust me, the kilt doesn’t work, Polish girls were as appalled as I was when in Krakow a couple of years ago...

Its really not a good look..

I hope not otherwise i've dated a lot of homosexuals 0_o

There's quite a few different Scottish accents.
Depends what part of Scotland you're from.
Glasgow is more... slang
and Edinburgh is more Posh.

My accents mixed from living all over Scotland ;P

I met a Polish man the other day who said some people in Scotland are like 'Och aye the noooooo!' and others are more like 'Hello there. How are you this evening?'
You seem the 'Och aye the noo' type :p
Okay I'm kidding, I live near Glasgow so I can't say a word :p

Im definetly the " och aye the noo" type, although i never do say och aye the noo......

but as has been mentioned there are so many localised accents in scotland that its hard to pin on one city, to an untrained ear i would have a broad Glaswegian accent, but as im form lanarkshire im not even glaswegian, therfore my accent is quite different from the hardend glaswegians.....

still wouldnt change it though........

I find that there are more accents in Scotland than Poland, well, more distinction at any rate. I don't hear the differences in Polish accents that clearly

I find the accent in the south of Poland the most difficult to understand.

Malopolskie.
I suppose it depends on the individual, I have two friends from Lodz. One is quite clear but the other speaks too fast.

I have a friend from Gdansk who speaks very fast in English but he goes into turbo mode in Polish. I never understand how anyone understands him...

Btw - I dont know if this is regional or common throughout Poland but....when asked a question someone will say "No" which means yes.

i heard Aberdeen and Dundee people, and no disrespect, but i hardly got a word out of that. Highlandish accent is very nice and easy to understand. Edinburgh is 'polished' Scottish. Ach! :)

Here is a fine example of the Aberdeenshire accent.
Big Aggie telephones looking for her money, only to realise later that in her anger she has dialled the wrong number....

Seanus - Is that a tear in your eye ??

If by refined you mean posher then aye your probs spot on!!! but who wants refind??? rough round the edges is what your after.... lol

The diversity between scottish accents to areas is actually amazing, for want of a better word... the accents and even words used can change only a few miles down the road, my area of lanarkshire ( north and south ) has 32 smaller counties incorperated, and you could nearly say that they would all have a slightly diffenet twang to the accent......

and when abroad practically everybody from the west of Scotland will tell you they are from Glasgow!!!

Actually, I have to say that when I was in Aberdeen my friend and I were amused by how different the accent was from where I live.

Yes I completely agree with this. Such a small country yet within a day you can experience several different Scottish accents and about five meanings of the one word. The Doric is maybe my favourite though.
