search function problems with gadu gadu

hi all

im trying to search for someone using the search function on gadu but no results came up...so i tried a random search trying random names and polish cities but nothing comes up...the sun that tells you gadu is saerching justs spins forever..
anyone else ever had this problem or know how to resolve it?
and yes im typing names and cities in the right boxes and im connected to the internet

i have been having the same issue when i search for people to chat to in my hometown Doncaster with GaduGadu lately ... the sun keeps spinning and nothing appears.

the same with mine. most probably gadu gadu took a day off

I had such problems few times- there just are sometimes days when GG is lagging.
just try next time.

i tried today to search managed a couple of pages then it didnt do anything lol GG must be overworked

can anyone tell me how to add a number into the messenger so i can see them online.

Users status icons are visible as "online" "offline" "busy" etc, etc.
It is up to particular user to decide what status to choose.
One could be online and have the "offline" status to show.

How to add a number?
Look for DODAJ NOWY KONTAKT in KONTAKTY tab

dont expect any romantic outcome by that thing.... gadu gadu!.... but it CAN come out... still.....not worth the expectations!

I went to that site they didnt have an english version so I split.
This girl sent me this link there must be hundreds of Polish girls on there.
There again it was all in Polish and couldnt understand alot of it..

Hey i have polish friends where i work and they are going back soon and they told me they have gadu gadu but i dont speak polish so.. i dont really know what to do. Can some one tell me how to add someone to my list please in english. it will be appreciated.

Kontakty = contacts
Dodaj = add
Usuń = delete
Imie = name
numer = number
szukaj = search

Once you click 'contacts' and 'dodaj' must type 'imie' and your friends number in 'numer gadu gadu' field.
These are mandatory, rest is optional. Thats it..

be warned though if you have like me people with same first name when you go to add it wont let you so you need to add maybe their last name or use their nickname instead :)

I'm looking to try and trace a friend of mine that has moved back to Poland. I have just downloaded Gadu Gadu to try and find him but unfortunately don't speak Polish so I cannot understand the web page. Can anyone help? Does anyone know of a manual I can get hold of in English to help me?

Jopper, umm I think this is the most useful thread in the whole pf lol to me ;) gadu gadu scroll down! perhaps, you should start using polish forum' search bar; at the top, right corner. Type "gadu gadu," watch it's magic! hehheh

I was having a look at Poland's favourite messenger and I was wondering if it was possible to search for contacts by there name!?

If it is could some give me step by step instructions as I can't understand any of the menus/buttons on it! Thanks.

The only way that you will be able to do it, is if they have entered their name in their details and a lot of people do not bother to do it, but you can try :)
