At last I found the right thread to post this :)

So, I am coming to Warsaw with a friend on march 20 and would like to meet some girl(s) that would like to show us the city around. We are 2 gyus from Bratislava (25 years old) and from Prague (21 years old) and never was in Warsaw. We will stay there to 23 or 24 march. I would like to see the most interesting places during the day and also some good clubs on evening. We arrive to Warsaw at 4-5 pm this Thursday. My ICQ contact is 123 626 918. I look forward.

haha true. :)

Funnily enough, I'll be in Bratislava and Prague in a couple of weeks time, but you won't see me asking for a guide - female or otherwise. Kids today just have no sense of adventure :)

Well, it is not the difference between men and women. It is just more interesting with women, when we are 2 men coming to Warsaw. Anyway, I am sure we will have a great time there. And I think that boys are not interested to meet with other boys, am I wrong? :)

edit: and, I do not search for a sex, think what you want :)

edit2: if I wrote that it does not matter about gender would anybody want to meet with us and show us the city? Warsaw is 4 times bigger than Bratislava, but about me, I like talking to the tourists in Bratislava and help them how I can, cause I am glad they are travelling here. Also, if somebody wanted a guide, I would help also, cause I am proud of my city.

edit3: okay, seems to be useless to search for a guide, so I wonder what is the purpose of this sub-forum. I like exploring cities by myself, but it is always better when you are with someone that is living there. I never searched for somebody in a foreign city, this is the first time and maybe the last time :)

Greetings from Warsaw

I must say that I am very surprised by this city. It seems to be the biggest city I saw and a real city. I was impressed by the skyscrapers around the main railway station and also by the Palace of culture. I did not expect it to be so big and beautiful.

Also, the historical centre is beautiful, but different from all I have seen for now. Very interesting that a walking zone is full of buses, and a lot of people and cars everywhere. wow :) I almost feel like in America :)

You must have been in a tiny and strange part of America if you feel at home in Warsaw. Skyscrapers? In Poland? However, I am sure that I am right, the main railway station is the place to meet all the prostitutes.

I never was in America. Warsaw was the first city that reminds me how America could look like. I only saw America on the pictures and Warsaw looks like some smaller American city. But anyway, it seems to be very luxurious city and not very good for a typical vacation. Krakow seems much more like the city for the tourists etc.

Okay, guys, we are already back from Warsaw and Krakow. I loved this trip, I was very impressed by Warsaw and also visited Krakow for the second time. Seems that Krakow is more intended for the people to have fun than Warsaw. Anyway, it was a great experience to see Warsaw too. I am sure I will come back to Poland soon. I love this country. It is very nice that the people are so religious there and they treat the religion seriously.

There are certainly no skyscrapers in Poland or Warsaw, only in America. I remember many years ago going to the top of Stalin's present to Warsaw and it was by far the highest building in Warsaw. I looked all around and there were only low rise council flats for miles to see. An awful experience really, never I hope to be repeated.

It would be impossible to repeat because Warsaw does in fact have skyscrapers.

Seems that it was before 1989 :)

lol, when I read that too, I was thrown off.

There are certainly skyscrapers elsewhere, and the tallest ones are not even in America.
